1.6 Residence

Introduction

This chapter describes how the Registrar will decide whether a parent is a resident of Australia for the purposes of the child support legislation; whether a child meets the residence requirements for a child support assessment; and what tests will be used to determine if a parent is a resident of a reciprocating jurisdiction.
