1.1.Q.20 Quarantining (FTB Part B)

Definition

The FTB Part B return to work measure is also known as quarantining. Individuals who return to work (or start work) for the first time after the birth of a child or a child comes into their care, may be entitled to the maximum rate of FTB Part B for the period of the financial year before they returned to work provided they were not earning passive income in that period.
