8.3 Where to find information on child care benefit (CCB) & child care rebate (CCR)

Introduction

On 2 July 2018 CCS replaced child care benefit (CCB) and child care rebate (CCR) as part of the Government's new child care package.

Individuals will still be required to meet the requirements of FA (1.1.F.02) law in respect of CCB and CCR for sessions of care (1.1.S.40) provided prior to 2 July 2018. Previous versions of the FA Guide which provides information on CCB and CCR may be accessed on the Australian Government Web Archive.
