Definition

Governing rules, in relation to a fund, scheme or trust (1.1.T.180), means any trust instrument, other document or legislation, or combination of them, governing the establishment and operation of the income stream (1.1.I.70).

This term is used in relation to the assessment of an income stream for social security purposes.
