10.14.3.10 People Covered by the Agreement with Germany

People covered

Article 3 of the Agreement with Germany specifies the people to whom the Agreement applies. That is:

  • for Australia:

    • people who are or have been Australian residents.
  • for Germany:
    • nationals of Australia or Germany,
    • refugees,
    • stateless persons,
    • nationals of other countries.

The Agreement also applies to other persons who derive rights from the above-mentioned people, for example, a partner, dependent, widow or survivor of such a person.
