10.2.11.20 Lodgement of Appeals - Agreement with New Zealand

Lodgement of appeals

Article 17 covers the lodgement of appeals. All appeal documents, whether for an Australian or a New Zealand benefit, may be lodged in Australia or New Zealand.

The date of lodgement of an appeal regarding an Australian benefit in New Zealand is deemed to be the date of lodgement in Australia.

Appeals by people paid under the Agreement can be lodged with Centrelink in Australia or with Work and Income New Zealand in New Zealand.
