10.21.10.10 Information Which can be Exchanged - Agreement with Switzerland

Information which can be exchanged

Article 21 provides that, subject to the data protection provisions of Article 23, the competent authorities and competent institutions shall exchange any information necessary for the application of the Agreement. Article 23 specifies that personal data may only be exchanged where the person:

  • wishes to use any provision of the Agreement,
  • claims a benefit from the country transmitting the data after the Agreement commences, or
  • authorises the provision of data.
