10.24.9.10 Information Which Can Be Exchanged - Agreement with Japan

Information which can be exchanged

Article 23 of the Agreement provides that the competent authorities and competent institutions, in accordance with their own national statutes and regulations, will exchange any information necessary for the implementation of the Agreement.

Japan will supply information on the annual amount of Japanese benefit paid to a mutual pensioner only after they have received consent from the person concerned. This applies to people being paid Japanese benefit with or without the assistance of the Agreement.
