10.27.12 Appeals - Agreement with the Republic of North Macedonia

Appeals

Article 17 of the Agreement provides that appeals documents, governed by each side's social security laws, may be lodged in either country.

Appeals, whether in relation to Australian or Macedonian benefits may be lodged:

in Australia, at any Centrelink office, or
in the Republic of North Macedonia, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.

The date on which an appeal is lodged in one country is taken to be the date on which that appeal is lodged with the competent institution of the other party.
