10.5.11.20 Lodgement of Appeals - Agreement with Canada

Lodgement of appeals

Article 12 of the Agreement covers lodgement of appeals. All appeal documents, whether for Australian or Canadian benefits may be lodged in Australia or Canada.

The date of lodgement of an appeal in Canada is deemed to be the date of lodgement in Australia.

Appeals by people paid under the Agreement can be lodged with Centrelink in Australia or with Employment and Social Development Canada in Canada.
