10.6.12.30 Transitional Provisions - Agreement with Spain

Transitional provisions

Because this Agreement replaces a previous Agreement with Spain it is necessary to include Transitional Provisions to cover people who are being paid under the previous Agreement when this one entered into force.

Article 29 - Transitional Provision - ensure that this Agreement will not adversely affect anyone currently being paid under the previous Agreement.

Example: A person who is not severely disabled and is receiving DSP under the previous Agreement will continue to qualify for that payment indefinitely while they are in Spain.
