10.9.11.20 Lodgement of Appeals - Agreement with Ireland

Lodgement of appeals

Article 15 of the Agreement covers lodgement of appeals. All appeal documents whether for Australian or Irish benefits may be lodged in Australia or Ireland.

The date of lodgement of an appeal in Ireland is deemed to be the date of lodgement in Australia.

Appeals by people paid under the Agreement can be lodged with Centrelink in Australia or with any Social Welfare Services office in Ireland.
