11.7.8.10 Delegate terminates VIM agreement at the person's request

Delegate terminates agreement at person's request

As the income management agreement has been entered into voluntarily, the person may ask the delegate to terminate the agreement at any time (after the mandatory 13 week adjustment period under SS(Admin)Act subsection 123UO(1A)), for any reason.

If a person makes such a request to end VIM, the delegate must terminate the agreement as soon as practical under SS(Admin)Act subsection 123UO(2), unless the agreement has not been in force for at least 13 weeks.
