11.9.5.30 Change of circumstances under the SPAR measure

Change of circumstances

During the period of income management, the delegate and the recognised state or territory authority officer or employee will advise each other of any change in the person's circumstances that may affect income management, for the purposes of the performance of the functions and duties, or the exercise of the powers, of the recognised authority in relation to the case. This would include, but is not limited to, any change of address, partner status or change in relation to the care arrangements of children. The delegate will advise the recognised authority of a change in the person's circumstances within 5 working days of becoming aware of a change.

If the state/territory referral authority decides that income management should cease prior to the originally advised end date, the state/territory referral worker must revoke the notice that is in effect in relation to the person as soon as practical.
