3.10.3.70 'Offset' family assistance & CA payments

Summary

Where a recipient or a recipient couple are in receipt of a social security pension or benefit, as well as FTB and/or CA, they may choose to have their entitlement periods (1.1.E.125) for these later payments offset into the alternate week.

Where this option is chosen, the entitlement periods for the payments are offset by one week. Delivery days (1.1.D.55) are always on weekdays and will be offset as follows:

Primary income support payment Offset payment Delivery day of offset payment
Pension or PP Family assistance or CA One week after primary payment.
Benefit other than benefit PPP Family assistance or CA One week and one working day after primary payment.
