6.7.1 Amounts recoverable under the SSAct

Introduction

There are 2 main types of debts recoverable under the SSAct:

debts defined by a provision of the SSAct, and
debts occurring under any other Commonwealth Acts or schemes which are recoverable by virtue of the provisions of the SSAct.

This section details the types of debts that are recoverable under the SSAct.
