1.1.D.40 Direct personal response framework

Definition

The Minister for Social Services may make a written declaration about how direct personal responses should be delivered by participating institutions under the National Redress Scheme. This declaration is the direct personal response framework.

In making a declaration, the Minister must take into consideration the general principles guiding the provision of direct personal responses, outlined in section 56 of the NRSAct.

Any declaration is a legislative instrument as defined under the Legislation Act 2003, but section 42 of that Act regarding disallowances does not apply.
