1.1.F.30 Funding contribution

Definition

For the purposes of the National Redress Scheme, the 'funding contribution' is the amount a participating institution owes the Scheme. It is calculated every 3 months, or quarterly. There are 2 parts:

  • The redress component (the total amount the institution needs to pay towards redress payments and the counselling and psychological care component in the quarter).
  • The Scheme administration component (the total amount the institution needs to pay towards the administration of the Scheme in the quarter).
