1.1.K.10 Key institution

Definition

For the purposes of the National Redress Scheme, the term 'key institution' is used to identify a particular institution when working out its share of a redress payment when there is 2 or more sets of abuse in an application. It identifies the particular key institution at each step of calculating that institution’s share of redress.
