1.1.C.160 Correspondence nominee

Definition

A correspondence nominee is a person, other than the parental leave pay recipient, who is appointed as a person who may receive PPL correspondence and (in most instances) may act on the recipient's behalf as if they were the recipient. A correspondence nominee is appointed by Centrelink for the purposes of PLP with the written consent of the person to be appointed and after taking into consideration the wishes (if any) of the principal.
