1.1.B.17 Becomes entrusted

Definition

For the purposes of FA (1.1.F.02), becomes entrusted has the same meaning as FAAct subsection 3(1).

A child becomes entrusted to the care of an individual at a time if:

  • any person entrusts the child to the individual's care
  • as a result, the child is in the individual's care at that time, and
  • the child was not in the individual's care at any earlier time.
