1.1.D.18 Date of effect

Definition

This is the date that a particular change first effects the person's entitlement.

Usage

A change in the person's circumstances will be the most common reason for the date of effect rules to be used. A general change in rate such as a CPI increase will also have a specific date of effect for each person.
