10.1.10.70 Portability of PPS under an Agreement

Parenting payment (single)

PPS is included in some agreements under the general description 'pensions payable to widows'. It is generally only payable to de jure widows. Check the relevant agreement to determine whether the particular person in question is covered by the agreement.

People receiving autonomous PPS can continue to receive payment after 6 weeks if they go to an Agreement country by transferring to an agreement pension, provided the payment is covered by the agreement.
