10.21.5.20 Totalising to Qualify for a Swiss Benefit - Agreement with Switzerland

Part III, Articles 12 to 16 of the Agreement covers Swiss benefits.

The Swiss pension will be based on the period of insurance completed in Switzerland.

Where an Australian national leaves Switzerland permanently and would otherwise receive a partial pension of less than 10% of the corresponding full pension, a lump sum will be payable. If the partial pension would be between 10 and 20%, the Australian national may choose between a lump sum or the partial pension.
