10.4.3.30 Equality of Treatment - Agreement with Italy

Equality of treatment

Article 4 of the Agreement with Italy provides that people to whom the Agreement applies will be treated equally in the application of the laws of Australia and Italy regarding eligibility for and payment of benefits.

Equality of treatment does not apply to people who are present in the territory of Australia or Italy illegally.
