Requirement to claim a benefit from the Netherlands

Article 22, paragraph 1 of the Agreement with the Netherlands requires claimants for Australian pensions to claim any outstanding Netherlands' benefit. In addition to this, all claimants for Australian benefits, whether under the Agreement with the Netherlands or autonomously, are required to take reasonable action to claim any entitlement from the Netherlands. This requirement is covered by CFP legislation in 7.3.1.
