11.3.8.20 Exit interview under the Child Protection Measure

Exit interview

An individual can request an exit interview to discuss the transition to standard payment arrangements and discuss the final disbursement of any remaining funds in their income management account. The delegate can offer the following options for the person to consider if they will not be subject to compulsory income management under another measure:

  • voluntary income management
  • payment nominee
  • Centrepay, and/or
  • financial management support.

If a person will be subject to another measure of income management upon exiting the Child Protection Measure, the delegate will discuss the impacts of this transition with the person in the exit interview.

The delegate will advise the child protection authority of the person's exit from income management.
