11.4.4 Review & appeal process under the VWPR Measure

Reviews & appeals

A person who is unhappy with a decision made under the SS(Admin)Act about income management under the VWPR Measure, will have access to the full range of review and appeal rights, including AROs and the AAT.

In addition, a person income managed under this measure can request that the delegate reconsider their circumstances (as opposed to reviewing or appealing the original decision).

Factors taken into consideration by the delegate when reconsidering a person's circumstances are set out in the 'Decision-making principles' (11.4.2.10).
