11.9.7.20 Review of decision to make deductions from person's relevant welfare payments under the SPAR measure

Review of decision to make deductions from a person's relevant welfare payments under SS(Admin)Act Part 3B Division 5 Subdivision B

A person can request review of a decision to make deductions from the person's relevant welfare payment (11.3.4), category I welfare payments, e.g. how their funds are allocated. However, under the SS(Admin)Act, Part 3B Division 5 Subdivision B, the delegate has no discretion as to the percentage deducted from a person's welfare entitlement. For the SPAR measure, a person will be income managed at 70% (11.9.4).
