3.11.3.100 Approved non-government programs

Approved non-government programs

A non-government program is a term for a work-focused program delivered by community or private enterprise organisations.

Participation in particular non-government programs can be used to contribute towards meeting the mutual obligation requirements of job seekers at the discretion of their employment services provider or as part of their points requirement (if applicable). Job seekers will generally still be required simultaneously to attend provider appointments (if applicable) and to look for work while participating in a non-government program.
