3.6.9.60 ADAT step 5

Validation

To ensure that CA and CP are directed to carers who provide care to care receivers with a genuine need for care because of disability or severe medical condition, appropriate professional questionnaire score must be achieved to be eligible for the payments. The minimum professional questionnaire scores are as follows:

8 for CP for a lower ADAT score adult
10 for CP for a higher ADAT score adult
32 for CP where a care receiver has 2 or more carers, and
12 for CA (adult).
