6.2.5.57 CP (child) reviews - child who has a terminal condition

Summary

This topic explains the reviews that are conducted for CP (child) recipients who qualify for CP under the terminal condition (3.6.4.33) provision.

Purpose of review

The purpose of these reviews is to determine whether the care receiver still requires care, and to identify whether Services Australia can offer the carer any additional assistance.

Frequency of review

Reviews are conducted 24 months after the carer is first granted CP under the terminal condition provision, and then every subsequent 12 months on the anniversary of finalising the previous review.
