8.6 Date of effect of determinations

Introduction

This chapter contains information to be used in working out the date of effect of determinations made under SS(Admin)Act Part 3. This includes the date of effect provisions in Division 9 as well as the automatic provisions in Division 8.

Note: Different date of effect rules apply for working credit persons under age pension age when determinations involve employment income. These different rules also apply to all student income bank persons when determinations involve ordinary income. These rules are summarised in section 8.6.7.
