8.7.2.20 Restricted portion (Cashless Debit Card Trial)

Definition

The restricted portion is the portion of the restrictable payment (8.7.2.10) that will be paid into a trial participant's restricted bank account. It cannot be used to purchase alcohol, gambling or illicit drugs, some cash-like products and it cannot be withdrawn as cash. The default restricted portion is 80%. The restricted portion can be decreased by a community body (8.7.7) in the Ceduna and East Kimberley areas.
