1.1.P.20 Participating institution

Definition

For the purposes of the National Redress Scheme, participating institutions are:

  • all Commonwealth institutions
  • any State institution that is declared to be a participating institution by the Minister for Social Services
  • any Territory institution that is declared to be a participating institution by the Minister for Social Services
  • any non-government institution that is declared to be a participating institution by the Minister for Social Services.
