Definition

A specialist assessment is a written report prepared by an appropriately qualified medical or allied health professional in relation to a person's medical condition.

Explanation: A specialist assessment is a report prepared by a medical or allied health professional for the purpose of completing a JCA and is not necessarily a report prepared by a medical specialist.
