1.1.A.02 AAT reviewable claimant decision

Definition

If a decision has been affirmed, varied or set aside by Centrelink, a person affected by the decision may apply for AAT first review of the decision. The AAT may only conduct a first review of a decision that has been reviewed by an ARO or where the decision was made personally by a PPL agency representative (1.1.P.160).

If a person has already applied to the AAT at the time Centrelink reviews a decision, Centrelink must give written notice of the outcome of the review to the Registrar of the AAT.
