10.11.1.10 History of the Agreement with Austria

History

The original Agreement between Australia and Austria commenced on 1 December 1992 and was revised by way of a Protocol on 1 October 2002.

A Second Protocol was concluded in 2010 and amended the Agreement with effect from 1 January 2012.

The current Agreement was signed in 2015 and commenced on 1 March 2017. The current Agreement replaces the original Agreement as amended by the First and Second Protocols.

The Agreement with Austria is a formal treaty under international law and is included in the SS(IntAgree)Act as Schedule 10.
