10.1.6 Australia's agreements & proof of identity

POI requirements are covered in 2.2.1 Verifying identity.

If a person claiming a payment using an agreement is unable to provide sufficient documentation to prove their identity, contact Centrelink International Services.

Note: Recipients who are residing overseas may have to complete a proof of life certificate once every 2 years. Local or regional government authorities and pension agencies are able to certify the proof of life certificates for this purpose. See 6.2.1 for details.
