10.12.4.10 Who Can Lodge Claims under the Agreement with Cyprus

Who can claim

The Agreement with Cyprus contains all the claim lodgement provisions discussed in 10.1.4.

Article 6 of the Agreement with Cyprus covers claim lodgement and allows residents of:

  • Australia and Cyprus to lodge claims for benefits if they are in Australia or Cyprus, and
  • a third country with which Australia has an agreement that provides for cooperation in the lodgement of claims.
