1.1.L.28 Listed medical practitioner (FTB, CCS)

Definition

For the purpose of FTB and CCS, a listed medical practitioner means a medical practitioner (1.1.M.40) whose name has been given to the Commonwealth Chief Medical Officer by the Chief Health Officer of a state or territory for the purpose of giving certificates under section 13 of the Family Assistance (Immunisation Principles and Vaccination Schedules) (DSS) Determination 2018.

Note: Section 13 the Family Assistance (Immunisation Principles and Vaccination Schedules) (DSS) Determination allows a listed medical practitioner to certify that immunisation of a child would result in an unacceptable risk of physical harm to the child or a person administering a vaccination to the child.
