The 'saved amount' is the amount in a person's account into which instalments of PLP are paid, which is protected from garnishee under a court order.

The saved amount is the difference between the amount of instalments that have been paid to the credit of the person's account in the 4 weeks immediately before the court order came into force and the amount that the person has withdrawn from that account in the 4-week period.
