4.2.4.150 Claim action 15 - bank details not provided within 28 days

Is a letter required?

No.

What to do

Advise the individual (1.1.A.72) that they must immediately provide bank account details into which fortnightly instalments (1.1.I.100) of FTB can be paid.

Consequences of not complying with the request

Advise the individual that failure to provide bank account details stops their claim from being able to be determined.

The individual should be advised that a paper claim cannot be re-used and if they want to test their eligibility for FTB in the future they must lodge a new paper claim or claim online.

Record-keeping

An electronic or paper file record of this advice should be kept.
