Reasons for exit

There is a variety of circumstances in which an individual is no longer subject to income management under the Cape York income management measure. These may occur when:

  • the period of income management ends, or
  • the Family Responsibilities Commission has revoked or withdrawn a notice given about income management for the individual, or
  • an individual's category P ( or R ( welfare payment (and/or partner's payment, if applicable) has been cancelled, or
  • an excluded payment nominee is appointed in relation to the individual or the individual's existing payment nominee becomes an excluded payment nominee, or
  • one of the other conditions set out in SS(Admin)Act section 123UF(1), (2) or (3), as applicable to the individual, ceases to be met in relation to the individual, or
  • the individual has died.
