4.1.2.20 Special PPL claimants for PLP

Special PPL claims

A person who meets the requirements to be a special PPL claimant (1.1.S.60) may make an effective special PPL claim (1.1.S.55) for PLP.

A special PPL claimant may be:

  • the partner of a person who satisfies the circumstances prescribed by the PPL Rules as being exceptional circumstances in which a PPL claim for PLP can be made, or
  • a person who satisfies the circumstances prescribed by the PPL Rules as being exceptional circumstances in which a special PPL claim can be made.
