1.1.A.10 Absence from Australia

Definition

For the purposes of PLP a person is absent from Australia (1.1.A.80) if they are outside of Australia.

The day a person departs Australia is counted as the first day of absence from Australia.

The day a person arrives back in Australia counts as a day in Australia.
