1.1.F.10 Family PPL income limit

Definition

The family PPL income limit is the maximum combined ATI for the reference income year of a PPL claimant and, where applicable, their partner.

The family PPL income limit is:

  • $350,000 if the reference income year (1.1.R.10) is 2021-22
  • $350,000 if the reference income year is 2022-23
  • $364,350 if the reference income year is 2023-24.

The family PPL income limit is to be indexed on 1 July (the indexation day) each year, commencing on 1 July 2024 in respect of the 2023-24 reference year.

Note: A claimant with a combined ATI greater than the Family PPL income limit may still satisfy the PPL scheme income limit if their ATI is under the individual PPL income limit.
