3.5.2 CCS - recognised participation

Introduction

The number of hours of approved care (1.1.A.90) an individual (1.1.I.90), is entitled to receive in a CCS fortnight (1.1.C.10) is determined by the individual’s circumstances.

All CCS eligible individuals are entitled to subsidised hours result of 72 hours per fortnight, regardless of their participation.

All families caring for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child will receive an increased hours result of 100 hours per fortnight for each Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child in their care, regardless of their participation.

Families will be eligible to receive an increased hours result of 100 hours per fortnight if they have more than 48 hours of recognised participation per fortnight, or have an exemption.

This section contains information on recognised participation and the calculation of the subsidised hours result for CCS.
