DRA - Current Rates

Current rates

The rate of DRA paid to a person depends upon the magnitude of the person's loss of income as a direct result of the Part 2.23B major disaster. However, the rate of DRA is less than the rate of NSA or YA that would be payable to the person if they were qualified. For information on the appropriate rate of DRA see

Timing of payments

Payments are made fortnightly in arrears for a period of up to 13 weeks.
