This topic explains review action associated with a change in an income support recipient's superannuation, and covers the timing of these reviews.

Timing of reviews

Reviews of superannuation occur when:

  • the income support recipient advises of a change in the investment balance, OR
  • an automatic or manual review is undertaken by Centrelink, OR
  • a bulk reassessment occurs.
    • Explanation: Bulk updates are carried out twice yearly, in March and September.
